Discover Japanese Photography and Calligraphy at Lonato’s Sabi Exhibition
The exhibition “La Via del Sabi – 寂の道 – Sabi No Michi” opens on January 24, 2026, at the Rocca di Lonato’s Sala del Capitano and runs until March 22, 2026. The immersive display combines photography by Andrea Lippi and Japanese calligraphic ideograms by Luigi Gatti, inspired by a long-term exploration of light in Japan that began in 2015 and was recognized with honors at TIFA and BIFA in 2024.
The exhibition also features the presentation of the related book and catalog, “La Via del Sabi,” scheduled for February 14, 2026, at 15:30 within the same venue. Curated by the Fondazione Ugo Da Como, the show is open throughout the entire period at the historic Rocca di Lonato.
