Ensure Winter Mountain Safety at Maniva to Prevent Mountain Incidents

The national “Safe in Winter Mountain” day is scheduled for January 18, 2026, as part of the ongoing “Safe in Mountain” campaign organized by the Italian Alpine Club (CAI) and the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps (CNSAS). The event aims to raise awareness about winter mountain safety, focusing on avalanche risks, hypothermia, and slips to prevent accidents during cold-weather activities.

In Maniva, Collio (BS), the Maniva Ski area will host an information booth with rescue demonstrations conducted by CNSAS stations from Valtrompia and Valsabbia. Activities and scheduled events will also take place on the same day to educate visitors about mountain safety.
