Alois Launches Immigration Education Program on Residence and Reunification

The **Equatore association**, with the sponsorship of the **municipal department for social services** and in collaboration with the Villa Brescianelli school of the Ministry of Justice, organizes a training and information project for Italians and foreigners.

The first meeting will take place on Saturday, May 26th at 3:30 PM at Villa Brescianelli, on via Moscati. The topic to be addressed will be the residence card and family reunification.

Number of Immigrants and Speakers

There are nearly 1,200 immigrants residing in the town of Alois, with a clear male predominance.

To explore these aspects further, will speak Dr. Taffelli, coordinator of the **Provincial Immigration Observatory of Mantova**, and Cristina Calzolari, president of the social cooperative Progetto Integrazione in Milan.

Activities of the Municipal Administration

In addition to sponsoring this initiative by the **Equatore association**, the **municipal administration**, through the strong commitment made over the years by the **Social Services Councilor**, Erminia Biaggi, is implementing various activities for immigrants.

For example, we can mention the well-known Mondolandia Center, supported also by the Province, located in the Cinque Continenti neighborhood, where about fifty children attend activities led by professional operators, and the social secretariat desk, a support service for employment placement for foreigners.
