Celebrating the Life of Antonioli: Beloved Padenghe Pianist Passes Away in Retirement Home
Franco Antonioli, an 89-year-old musician and founder of Padenghe’s historic Pianobar Luci d’Alba, passed away last Friday at a local retirement home. A renowned pianist and guitarist, Antonioli was a beloved figure in the local music scene and shared decades of musical collaboration with his late brother Guido, who died a year ago.
The funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, March 20, at 3 p.m. at the Padenghe parish church, with the family expressing gratitude to the staff of the local RSA, Dr. Kassem, Dr. Irene Zagni, and the medical teams at Desenzano Hospital. Antonioli’s legacy includes the establishment of the iconic venue, which was awarded the “Historical Venue” title by Lombardy Region in 2024.
