Lake Festival in Rivoltella Ends with Fireworks and Cultural Events

Closure of the Lake Festival in Rivoltella

The grand finale of the Lake Festival takes place today in Rivoltella, on the free beach beside the municipal harbor. Following the unforgettable evening yesterday, which saw the election of Miss Lake Garda alongside the national Miss Italia contest, the folk group Cuori Ben Nati offers an intense day of shows and sporting events.

But the main event is scheduled for tonight, starting at 11 p.m., when the sky over the lower Garda will be illuminated by fireworks launched from the beach of Fornasetta, beneath the wall of the former Camping Italia. This is the climax of Rivoltella’s grand popular festival, which attracts thousands of tourists every summer.

Event Schedule for the Day

The day begins this morning at 8 a.m. with a fishing contest for “pieroni” over 50, followed by a bike ride (“Na pedalàda a Riultéla“) through the Morenic Hills at 9 a.m., organized by Ciclo Amatori di Rivoltella. In the afternoon, activities resume at 3 p.m. with the finals of the mini-ball tournament “Trofeo Gilioli” and at 5 p.m. with a beach volleyball tournament.

In the meantime, at 4 p.m., a swimming event titled “Quatèr brasàde da Riultéla a Desenzà” takes place, organized by the association “Il Timone.” This leads us to the evening’s main events.

At 9 p.m., the Fabio Armani orchestra will perform a rich musical repertoire, accompanied by the Rivoltella singer Diletta Orlandi. The night will culminate with a spectacular fireworks display. The entire event is hosted by Nino Frassi.

Event Details and Organization

The Lake Festival is now in its 35th edition. Its organizers, the Cuori Ben Nati, have been able to renew it each year without letting it fall into monotony. This is the key to its success.

Another strong point is the excellent gastronomic offerings: various first courses, with risotto alla mantovana as the highlight, followed by grilled meats and fish, spit-roasts, and polenta.

Tonight, anticipating a large influx of visitors, it is advisable to arrive early, parking along side streets and at the former Antonian Seminary. Police patrols from the Vigili Urbani will be ready to regulate traffic to prevent congestion on the main road.
