Venetian Soloists Headlines Summer Casino Concerts Series
The Venetian Soloists will be the main attraction at the Casino this weekend, as part of the musical events of the “Sere d’estate” series. The ensemble consists of seven stunning girls dressed in 18th-century costumes, all accomplished concert performers. Tonight, Thursday, starting at 9:30 PM, they will perform a repertoire of baroque period pieces.
Weekend Schedule
The weekend program includes, tomorrow evening, Friday, music by DJ Thomas and a comedy entertainment with magician Carlù. On Saturday evening, again at 9:30 PM, a piano bar featuring the duo of Luca Bonatti.
Organization and Audience Response
The successful “Sere d’estate” have been organized by Amsa on the Casino veranda, with the aim of enhancing the Aserburghic structure. The concerts began on July weekends and will continue throughout August.
The audience turnout exceeded expectations: for example, last week, about a hundred people gathered on the veranda to applaud the virtuosity of the well-known Cuban ensemble Axe Baba.
