Rivoltella Hosts Pirlenfest Festival with Music, Parades, and Local Support
A social aperitif, a meeting with tourists. All of this is «Pirlenfest», the festival dedicated to «pirlo», the classic lightly alcoholic glass that is very pleasant as an aperitif, which is scheduled to take place along via Di Vittorio and via Parrocchiale in Rivoltella from tomorrow and until Ferragosto.
Tomorrow, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., a group of artists will perform, including Augusto and Andy, as well as a musical ensemble formed by Oscar Marchioni (organ), Paolo Mappa (drums), Mauro Ottolini (trombone), and Francesco Bearzatti (saxophone), dubbed «The Licaones Lounge Music». On Ferragosto, Wednesday, a historical Risorgimento parade will take place instead.
Organization and Contributions
The event is organized by the «Amici del Borgo di Sotto» group, with the patronage of the assessorato al Turismo. Local Rivoltella merchants have also contributed significantly to this event, which continues to solidify its presence year after year.
