Sirmione to Feature in Rai 2 Travel Program Amid Tourism Revival

Not even the busiest days of the year can diminish the charm of Sirmione, which continues to attract media and television interest.

Just around Ferragosto, the town will host a television crew from the Rai 2 «Sereno Variabile» program, as they explore the land of Catullus, wandering through the most characteristic corners or among the most prestigious structures to capture images of joyful holidays.

A walk in nature, two steps into history, bicycle rides, a dip in the lake, moments of wellness at the Thermal Baths, relaxation in historic hotels of great charm, fine food and wine, a trip inland to Lonato to discover the artistic wonders of the Rocca, the priceless documents of the Casa del Podestà, and the magnificent panorama.

Scheduled Filming and Tourism Initiatives

These will be some of the aspects documented and featured in a segment scheduled to air around mid-September.

Special attention will be given to the thermal facilities of Sirmione, which is currently experiencing a successful phase of revitalization.

The Tourism Promotion Agency of Brescia, as part of its typical territory promotion activities, is coordinating with the production team and director Gabriella Borgioli to plan the crew’s schedule for August 16 and 17.

The president of Apt, Maurizio Banzola, emphasizing the continued media interest in some of the most scenic corners of the province, has requested «the collaboration of some of the most important local tourism entities» and highlighted «the significant promotional impact of this initiative, which can stimulate tourist flows especially in the final part of the tourist season.

The hope is that the weather will be clear rather than variable.»
