Event details and formation of the Trio
During the evening, starting at 9 PM – free admission – the trio, composed of Eugenia Marini (accordion and bandoneon), Eliana Gintoli (cello), and Omar Lonati (double bass), will perform famous and celebrated Piazzolla pieces such as Anni di Solitudine, Milonga del Angel, Muerte del Angel, Contrabajissimo, Escudo, Tristango, Fuga y Misterio, Violentango, Inverno Porteño, Tanti Anni Prima, Libertango, and Tango Remembrance by Piazzolla and Calandrelli.
The Trio was born from an artistic collaboration among three musicians dedicated to Astor Piazzolla. In search of the most reflective and intense moments in Piazzolla’s repertoire, the group, unusual in its instrumentation, offers pieces filled with deep and unforgettable emotion.
