Anna’s Visit to Riva del Garda Ahead of Raiuno Show

Stunning and statuesque, Anna walks through the lobby of the Astoria hotel, balanced on heels so high they elevate her to a height that makes those approaching her feel a bit intimidated. She arrived on Wednesday and will be leaving again Saturday morning for new professional commitments.

She has very little time to visit the town center, as she is busy preparing for the show that will be recorded this evening and broadcast Monday night on Raiuno in the late evening, watched worldwide.

Interview with Anna

«Is this your first time in Riva del Garda?»

«No — she explains with a smile — I know this area because I was here last summer for a few days with my mother. Not for work, though, but to visit some Finnish relatives (Anna is half Finnish ed) who were vacationing in Riva.

Like all Scandinavians, they love lakes, and I know that in recent years many Finns have been coming down to Garda. Who can blame them: it’s truly magnificent here».

«Is there anything that struck you most during these hours, besides the views of Garda?»

«The warmth of the people. And I must say, it’s really strange: we are in northern Italy, where people are usually quite reserved, but here, the locals are very “Mediterranean,” friendly, and welcoming.

Very pleasant, in short».
