Riva Hosts Rai TV Features Showcasing Local Tourism and Wine Events

First the Fairy Tale featuring Anna Falchi (which has already aired), then the recording of “Geo & Geo” (to be broadcast in winter), and yesterday the cameras of Sereno Variabile. Over the past month, Riva and its «city-centered» initiatives have become a sort of «off-site» branch of Rai, which – possibly aided by some recent «connections» re-established after years of inactivity – is serving as an effective loudspeaker showcasing what the city has to offer visitors.

The Rai operators (present in the city for the **Borsa del Turismo Montano**) yesterday unexpectedly arrived in Piazza Tre Novembre, where the Traubenkur event is underway – every morning – in the classic benignense version (the other locations, as is well known, are the prestigious veranda of the Casinò di Arco and the Piazza di Torbole).

Among folk tunes on the piano and bunches of grapes offered to smiling groups of tourists, between glasses of must and beautiful bottles on display under the porticoes of the Town Hall, Cinzia Deponti, a well-known «traveling host» of Sereno Variabile’s outdoor shoots and a leading collaborator of Osvaldo Bevilacqua, suddenly appeared – microphone in hand.

The beautiful and talented host (filmed by the external team from Rome, with direction by Elena Izzo) spoke about the beneficial virtues of the «Grapevine Cure» with Virginio Benini (Director of the Apt) and with some friendly tourists who complimented not only the grapes but also the wines of our land.

Television Appointment

We will see all this on television on Saturday, October 6th, during the classic weekly «monothematic» episode of Sereno Variabile, which will also feature sailing (from Malcesine) and biking (from Garda). Another lure cast to Italian tourists to encourage them to come vacation by the lake.
