Restoration Begins at Dogana Veneta by Cesarino e Luigino Spinaroli

Works have started for the restoration of the Dogana Veneta. In the coming days, the construction company Cesarino e Luigino Spinaroli from Valeggio will begin to delimit the entire area surrounding the historic building, a symbol of the Lacisian community, which is subject to restoration and structural consolidation interventions.

Construction operations and structures

The project related to the initial intervention aims at consolidating the lakeside portico and the structural binding of the entire building, repairing the roof, installing all systems, and removing heavy window frames facing the lake that may have contributed to the instability of the portico area. The actual commencement of work is scheduled for today, November 6, with the setup of construction structures, followed by completing the soil consolidation phase by the end of the year.

This operation is especially delicate, and the Valeggio-based company, which has previously worked on restoring part of the municipal palace in Lazise, will undertake it in a temporary joint venture with Geo Edil of Brescia. The renovation will then continue with interventions on the roof and wall masonry of the building, to be completed by the end of next summer with the removal of the current flooring and the installation of all internal technological systems.
