Venice Recreated in LEGO at Miniland, Gardaland Water Park

Gardaland Water Park in Italy hosts the LEGO-themed “Giornata dei mattoncini,” highlighting the importance of play and creativity. The event features a LEGO replica of Venice in Miniland, built with nearly 75,000 bricks, 525 different elements, and over 1,200 hours of work. The model, including San Marco Basilica and the Campanile, stands 1.12m and 3m tall respectively and is open to visitors within the park in Veneto.

Gardaland Park’s Operational Director, Alessandra Zanoni, recalls the project’s 2021 launch and the expanded public access introduced last summer, removing age restrictions. She also notes the presence of Creation Island, where thousands of LEGO bricks are available for collaborative building activities for visitors of all ages during the summer season.
