2026 Running Events in Jeopardy as Sabbio Chiese Relay Canceled

Several 2026 running events in Garda are facing cancellations and uncertainties. The “Staffetta in Rocca” in Sabbio Chiese has been excluded from the official calendar, confirmed by Atletica Gavardo 90 President Ambroso. Meanwhile, the Advance Garda Team announced that the 13 Miles D’Annunzio Run, scheduled for May 10, 2026, will not take place due to organizational issues, with plans to revisit the event in 2027 with new features.

The 2nd Gran Prix Felter Costantino remains scheduled for May 10, with the venue to be announced later, according to President Paolo Felter. Additionally, Garda Running President Michele Carzeri announced the end of collaboration with the organization of Vestone’s Ivars 3 Campanili race, after the event’s 18th edition last year.
