Carabinieri Crack Down in Peschiera: Hashish Dealer Nabbed in Castelnuovo

Carabinieri from Peschiera arrested a 21-year-old man in Castelnuovo on January 29 for drug possession and trafficking. During a raid prompted by suspicious activity at a residence, officers seized 240 grams of hashish and marijuana.

The suspect was caught in the act and placed under house arrest pending a preliminary hearing. The court validated the arrest the following day and scheduled the next session for March 2026. Ongoing territorial checks will continue in the area.
