Rivoltella Upgrades Desenzano Tower with Maintenance and Lighting Improvements

The Rivoltella Tower on Via Castello in Desenzano del Garda has recently undergone maintenance and architectural lighting upgrades funded by the local government. The work included removing ivy and invasive vegetation from the exterior walls to prevent deterioration, implementing safety measures for work at height, and replacing the lighting fixture for nighttime enhancement, with a total cost of nearly €5,000.

Executed by municipal technical teams and contractors, the renovations coincided with the centennial celebrations of Rivoltella’s administrative unification with Desenzano. City Council President Paolo Abate emphasized that maintaining the civic tower supports urban decorum, safety, and the preservation of local historic assets.
