Desenzano Winter Sailing Event Ends Without Races Due to Lack of Wind

Desenzano hosted the final day of the Winter Cimento event, part of the 25/2026 Winter Sailing Championship in the Meteor Class, organized by Fraglia Vela Desenzano and Circolo Nautico Dielleffe. The concluding race was canceled due to a complete lack of wind, preventing the scheduled regatta, while social activities continued ashore for crews and enthusiasts.

With the results finalized, Miseria Nera, led by Pierantonio Acquaviva, Luca Bertoli, and Carlo Lazzaroni, secured overall victory with two first-place finishes out of three races. The event attracted several out-of-region teams, with the next competition scheduled for February 21-22 with the Tridentina regatta.
