Scammers Impersonate Carabinieri to Sell Fake Magazine Subscriptions

Pretending to be a Carabinieri, they contact hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in the Middle and Upper Garda regions, offering subscriptions to the army‘s magazines.

These are not military personnel but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, the police, the fire brigade, or the Municipal Guard.

How to recognize scams
