Montichiari Hosts Open Cardiology Event to Promote Heart Disease Prevention
The “Cardiologie Aperte 2026” campaign, organized by the ANMCO Foundation, aims to promote cardiovascular prevention from February 9 to 15 through phone consultations and in-person events. During the week, 600 cardiologists will provide a total of 1,300 hours of free phone advice in designated time slots, alongside free cardiac screenings and educational sessions.
At Montichiari Hospital, five prevention-focused events will be held in the same week, featuring specialists addressing topics such as atrial fibrillation, cardiology and pregnancy, heart failure, gender-specific issues, and modifiable risk factors like dyslipidemia. The initiative seeks to raise awareness and encourage early detection of cardiovascular conditions.
