Sirmione Launches Maintenance and Paving Work in Piazza Unità d’Italia
Sirmione will begin pavement renovation on Piazza Unità d’Italia on February 9, 2026, with an estimated duration of 15 days and a budget of €121,000. The project, approved by the local administration and overseen by Deputy Mayor Maurizio Ferrari, will involve traffic modifications and the temporary relocation of bus stops from Piazza Unità d’Italia, via Roma, and Piazza Campiello to via Salvo D’Acquisto.
Additional infrastructure projects include beach renourishment at Lugana and Punta Grò (€150,000), hydrogeological risk mitigation on via Piana (€294,800), and roof renovations at the Palazzo dei Congressi (€405,000). Ongoing or upcoming works also cover pier maintenance, school building repairs, and public facilities upgrades, with total investments exceeding €970,000.
