Scammers Impersonate Police to Sell Fake Magazine Subscriptions

They pose as Carabinieri when making phone calls to hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in Medio and Alto Garda, offering subscriptions to the military magazines.

They are not military personnel but scammers who, from time to time, claim to be part of the finance police, police, firefighters, or the Municipality police.

How to Recognize Scams
