Gargnano Olive Growing Course Promotes Best Practices in Olive Cultivation

A course titled “Olive Tree: The Most Mistreated Tree” offers a theoretical and practical training on soil management, olive pruning, and olive cultivation techniques. Organized by Pro Loco Gargnano in collaboration with Agri-Coop Alto Garda Verde and led by Oliviero Capuccini, the program aims to correct common practices and improve olive tree care.

The initial online sessions will take place via Zoom on February 19 and 23, 2026, focusing on soil knowledge and olive tree reading. Practical exercises are scheduled for March 7-8, 2026, in Gargnano’s olive groves. Registration costs €5, free for Pro Loco members, with mandatory sign-up by February 18; the Zoom link will be shared on February 19.
