Dolphin81 International Class Unveils 2026 Season in Desenzano

The 2026 Dolphin81 International Class season was officially launched at Hotel Piccola Vela in Desenzano, marking the 34th season since the first Dolphin81 was launched in 1992. The event was attended by key figures including Francesco Crippa, Walter Cavallucci, and representatives from the Italian Sailing Federation, with over 127 boats produced and around 30 expected to compete.

The season features ten regattas across Lake Garda, beginning February 21-22 in Desenzano and concluding in October with the Trofeo Alta Velocità. Main sponsors such as MaxiDolphin, Bossong, and SunStripes support the circuit, which maintains a consistent fleet of around 30 boats, praised for their performance and longevity in the mono-hull racing scene.
