Loïc Meillard secured gold in slalom at the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics on February 16, 2026, adding to his silver in the team combined and bronze in giant slalom medals. His victory follows a preparatory training camp with the Swiss alpine ski team in Garda Trentino last May.
The Swiss team, led by coach Matteo Joris, engaged in indoor training, cycling, water sports, and team-building activities during the camp. The Garda Dolomiti tourism board supported the team’s preparation with public events and activities in Torbole.
