Salerno Centronautico: Marine Activities, Research, and Education Center

The Centronautico of Salerno was inaugurated in 1955 and is located in the Lungomare area, near the port.

Its headquarters host many students who participate in swimming, sailing, and water activities. The facility includes a large indoor swimming pool and expansive areas for learning and training.

Activities and Events

Students take part in practical drills, sailing courses, and regattas. Cultural meetings and conferences on marine conservation are also held there.

The Center collaborates with many sporting and nautical institutions to promote maritime culture among young people and foster environmental education.
