Calcinato Hosts Photo Exhibition Highlighting Road Safety and Personal Loss
A photography exhibition titled “33 Indelible Scars” addresses the impact of road accidents on families, focusing on memory, grief, and collective responsibility while promoting road safety. Organized by the association CONdividere la Strada della vita and supported by the Calcinato Municipality and local cultural and safety commissions, the display runs from March 9 to 15 at the Italmark Gallery in Calcinato, with an opening event on March 9 at 11:30 a.m.
The exhibition features 33 large-format photographs, each depicting a family member alongside a personal object, representing 10 stories connected to loss and remembrance. The display is open free of charge Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. On March 12 at 8:30 p.m., a related event will take place at Teatro Marconi’s Lab 3.0, featuring writer Antonio Savoldi and contributions from director Pietro Arrigoni. The initiative has received backing from UPI, the Italian government, and regional and local authorities.
