Sara Schiavone Repeats Victory at Stupinigi in CSEN Canicross Italian Cup

Sara Schiavone and her dog Poker won the CSEN Canicross Women Cup for the second consecutive year, following the National Canicross Italy CSEN Championship held on February 21-22 at Parco Reale di Stupinigi in Turin. The event saw over 190 pairs competing across various categories.

Based in Manerba’s Rocca Natural Park, Schiavone and Poker train during winter on local trails. Canicross is a sport involving running alongside a dog using specialized equipment, and the duo competed successfully against larger canine athletes.
