Vittoriale Unveils Restored Mausoleum and Auditorium in Celebration of Tireless Dedication

Garda Notes reports that on March 14-15, 2026, the Vittoriale degli Italiani will host “Fatica senza fatica,” a celebration marking the reopening of its restored Mausoleum and Auditorium. The event will feature exhibitions, the presentation of a D’Annunzio poetry anthology, and the unveiling of new art installations, highlighting ongoing efforts to revitalize the historic site.

The Mausoleum, designed by Gian Carlo Maroni and located at the park’s highest point, has undergone restoration and new lighting installation in collaboration with A2A, enhancing its symbolic presence. The Auditorium, redesigned by Angelo Bucarelli, now features updated finishes and installations to serve as a cultural venue. Entrance to the park will be free during the festivities, with Giordano Bruno Guerri emphasizing the site’s role as a living cultural hub that preserves D’Annunzio’s legacy through ongoing projects and public engagement.
