Riva Youth Centenary Regatta Launches Sailing Season for Fraglia Vela Backed by Faccenda

The Youth Centenary Regatta – Trofeo Faccenda marks the start of the competitive season for Fraglia Vela Riva, supported by Cantiere Navale Faccenda. Held from March 6-8 in Riva, the event serves as a selection race for Czech, Swiss, and Hungarian teams preparing for the World Championship in Tangier and the European Championship in Gdynia.

The regatta features nine races, with at least four scheduled on the first two days to determine Gold, Silver, and Bronze fleets. The final day will crown winners in Cadetti and Juniores categories. The event precedes the 44th Garda Optimist Meeting, expected to host over 1,000 sailors from 35 nations, including activities like a raffle for a boat built by Cantiere Navale Faccenda.
