Sirmione Launches Photo Contest Celebrating Lake Garda

The 17th edition of the Sirmione Photography Award will take place from March 1 to October 31, 2026, featuring six themed contests focused on Lake Garda. The event aims to engage amateur photographers and tourists in capturing the region’s landscapes and atmospheres, with the opening contest, the Teens Photo Marathon, scheduled for April 19.

Key competitions include online and timed challenges such as the Block Notes Photo Contest, Sirmione 10% Photo Marathon, and Lake Garda Photo Challenge, offering cash prizes up to €1,500. Additionally, the Sirmione Photo Residency invites international photographers for a two-week creative stay, with selected projects potentially published in a photo book. The event is supported by sponsors like Fujifilm and organized in collaboration with regional cultural authorities.
