Alessandra Carnaroli Unveils Camaiore Prize-Winning Book in Montichiari
Alessandra Carnaroli, winner of the 37th Camaiore International Literary Prize, will discuss her latest poetry collection at a free event in Montichiari on March 14. The presentation, part of the Libramente series at Museo Lechi, will explore themes of contemporary violence, war, and daily life through a stark, ironic lens.
Carnaroli’s book features raw verses addressing issues such as conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, femicide, and domestic violence, highlighting human vulnerability amid tragedy. The poet, known for her experimental style and critical acclaim, has previously published works on topics including femicide, childhood trauma, and Alzheimer’s disease. The event includes a conversation with journalist Marzia Borzi and is organized by the local cultural department in collaboration with Montichiari Musei and Libreria Mirtillo.
