Montichiari Opens Bidding for Agricultural Market Management Starting May 1
Montichiari municipality has issued a public tender for managing its weekly agricultural market, following the announced cessation of activities by the previous operator on December 15, 2025. The three-year concession, starting May 1, 2026, and renewable once for an additional three years, will be awarded based on the most advantageous economic offer through an open procedure. The market, located in Piazza Santa Maria, operates every Tuesday from 07:30 to 13:30, with a maximum of 20 stalls, subject to possible venue or date changes by the municipality.
Interested businesses must submit a sealed bid package to the Montichiari Protocol Office, including a completed application form, a signed economic proposal in a separate envelope, and must meet the submission deadline of 12:00 PM, thirty days after the tender publication. Bids can be delivered in person, via registered mail, or authorized courier, with specific submission hours on weekdays. The initiative aims to promote local agricultural products.
