Lonato del Garda Hosts Historic Siege Reenactment on March 29

Lonato del Garda will host the third edition of the historical reenactment “A Leap into the Past: Siege of the Fortress” on March 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event takes place at the Visconti-Venetian Fortress and features medieval battles, demonstrations of historical crafts, and educational activities.

The day begins with a ceremony at 10:00 a.m., followed by staged battles, medieval tournaments, and a dramatic siege reenactment at 5:00 p.m. The event is organized by the Lonato municipality in collaboration with local reenactment groups and includes food options, such as a lactose-free spit-roast meal reservation.
