Rotary Donation Funds Oncology Rehabilitation Program in Peschiera Veronese

A €9,150 donation was presented today at Pederzoli Hospital’s conference room by the Rotary Club Peschiera and Garda Veronese, supported by District 2060, to fund the “Sailing Breast” project. The initiative aims to support oncological rehabilitation for breast cancer patients through a program combining traditional physiotherapy with sailing activities, coordinated by Dr. Laura Roncari of the hospital’s Breast Unit.

The project involves collaboration with ANDOS Oglio Po, Garda Tribordo, and Circolo Fraglia Vela di Peschiera, utilizing sailing activities to aid physical, psychological, and emotional recovery. The funds will support the program’s launch and ongoing rehabilitation efforts.
