Montichiari’s Bonoris Castle Reopens with Interactive Touch Panel for Visually Impaired Visitors

Montichiari’s Castello Bonoris reopens to the public on April 4 after winter closure, featuring a new tactile panel for visually impaired visitors to be installed near the drawbridge. The castle, built in the late 19th century in Neo-Gothic style and owned by the municipality since 1996, offers guided tours and educational activities supported by staff and volunteers, attracting over 8,000 visitors in 2023.

Additional highlights include a secret vault discovered posthumously, and special openings on Easter Monday, when the castle and the nearby Lechi Museum will be accessible. Visitors can book guided tours and purchase combined tickets via the Montichiari Musei website, with contact information available for further inquiries.
