Canale di Tenno Art Exhibition Highlights Alpine Flowers by Piero Coelli

The Casa degli Artisti “Giacomo Vittone” in Riva del Garda will host an exhibition titled “The Flowers of the Alps by Piero Coelli” from March 28 to June 28, celebrating the centennial of the Società degli Alpinisti Tridentini (SAT). The display features 32 botanical illustrations of Alpine flowers and mountain landscapes, drawing from a 1952 publication by SAT that included 64 works by artist Piero Coelli, emphasizing the region’s biodiversity.

Organized with loans from Coelli’s grandson, Carlo Coelli, the exhibition integrates art, history, and community participation. Curated by Roberta Bonazza and Maria Luisa Crosina, it also includes reproductions of the original 1952 publication and works by local students. The event aims to foster social engagement through educational activities and will open with a ceremony on March 28, with free entry until June 28.
