Cornuda Social Support Project Enhances Elderly and Disabled Care

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project in support of the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total funding allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
The project aims to promote social integration and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring monitoring services and coordination among the involved components.
