Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Welfare through Local Collaboration

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.
The project, which will have a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total funding allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most disadvantaged groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for community gathering and solidarity among citizens.
