Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Vulnerable Groups

Agreement in Cornuda

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for community encounter and solidarity.

Role of Institutions and Associations

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring security services and coordination among the various involved components.

Voluntary organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.

Overall, the agreement represents an example of collaboration between institutions and citizens aimed at safeguarding and improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable.
