Desenzano Launches Sustainability Festival 2026 with Eco-Friendly Walks and Plastic-Free Initiatives

The 2026 Sustainability Festival has launched its tenth edition, focusing on promoting realistic environmental and economic transitions through initiatives like Sustainable Walks, Seeds of Sustainability, and Garda Plastic Free. Running until June 21 across lakeside and rural communities—including Desenzano, Toscolano Maderno, Lonato, and others—the program features activities such as citizen science walks, cleanup events, and cultural events like Giardini d’Agrumi.

Organized with partners including ASVIS, Fondazione ASM, and local associations, the festival offers a range of events, including birdwatching excursions, cultural visits, and seminars. Notable upcoming events include Garda Plastic Free’s April 17th meeting with student participation and speakers like Luca Bonacina, alongside celebrations for the International Year of Pastures and Pastoralism 2026.
