Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion and Community Engagement

Agreement in Cornuda

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Goals

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, creating opportunities for social interaction and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.

Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.

Overall, the agreement represents an example of collaboration between institutions and citizens aimed at protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the most vulnerable.
