Salò Alpini Reopen Giuseppe Granata Shelter in Camperde Sima

The Giuseppe Granata Refuge in Campéi de Sima, located in Toscolano Maderno at 1,017 meters within the Alto Garda Bresciano Park, reopens on April 6, following a five-year renovation managed by the Salò “Monte Suello” Alpine Association. The refuge will host school groups during the season and hosts a school camp from June 29 to July 5 for middle school students.

Open weekends from April to October and on special holidays, the refuge will also be accessible daily from August 3-23. Closures are scheduled for May 9-10 and June 13-14 due to the Salò Alpine Section’s regional gathering. Road access from Toscolano Maderno is currently closed due to a landslide, with alternative routes from Gargnano, Vobarno, Gardone Riviera, and Lago d’Idro available.
