On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
