Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of the local political and social forces, such as the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
