Lazise Citizens Honored with Presidential Award for Meritorious Service

President Sergio Mattarella has awarded four Italian Republic honors to residents of Lazise, including one Officer and three Knights, through a decree issued on December 27. The recipients include Franco Aldrighetti, recognized for his contributions to tourism and involved in the Piani di Clodia Foundation; Renato Battistoni, a donor with over 220 blood and plasma donations; Claudio Brusco, a veteran Alpini leader active in volunteering; and Marco Lucchini, a hotel owner and donation advocate with local community ties.

The nominations were submitted by the Insigniti Onorificenze Cavalleresche Association via Secretary General Bruno Buratto. The awards were formalized by presidential decree, with Mayor Damiano Bergamini issuing a statement on behalf of the local administration.
