Start of the Convention and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation saw the participation of some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative’s implementation is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the weaker groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
