On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives from neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
