On early June 1996, an agreement was signed at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participating in the operation were some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteering organizations.
Goals and funding
The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker social groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
