Cornuda Social Support Project Launch Aims to Improve Vulnerable Lives
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative‘s implementation is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community grants.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
