Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Local Partnerships
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last for two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated budget for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transport, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
